Designed for group living, our Centre was purpose-built to provide residential outdoor education.
Ardentinny Centre is situated in the village of Ardentinny on the shores of Loch Long in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. We can accommodate groups of up to 120 young people aged eight and above in our purpose-built centre.
You couldn’t ask for a better location for outdoor learning. With beautiful beaches, hills, forests and lochs right on the doorstep, Ardentinny is the perfect place to explore, discover and learn in a truly inspiring landscape. Out here in the wilds, young people can experience, perhaps for the first time, what ‘remote’ really feels like. Our seaside setting means we can offer a range of water-based activities, while the local crags, hills, gorges and forest tracks allow for climbing, walking, biking, orienteering and a heap of other exiting activities.
And even travelling to Ardentinny Outdoor Centre will be an ‘adventure’. You can drive from Glasgow through the beautiful Loch Lomond National Park. Or you can take the ‘overseas experience’, taking the ferry from Gourock and crossing the Clyde before arriving here in Cowal!
And while remotely located, it will only take 1 ½ hours to travel here from Glasgow!
